Volunteer With Us! 

Our program runs on heart—and that heart is you. The success of the Lindhurst Jr. Blazers depends on the dedication and support of our amazing volunteers.

To keep things running smoothly, each LJB family is asked to volunteer at least 4 hours per season, or opt for the $100 buyout at registration. 

Whether you have time, talent, or both—we’ve got a spot for you! 

Volunteer Opportunities

• Snack Bar
  Help sell snacks and meals, prep food (grill, fry), and keep the area clean during home games and some practices. 
• Gate
  Greet guests and collect entry fees at home games. 
• Announcer
  Call the action, shout out sponsors, raffle winners, and more from the announcer’s booth during home games. 
• Chain Crew
  Assist on the sidelines by managing the down markers. The referee will guide you. Needed for home and away games. 
• PAR (Player Activity Report)
  Track play counts to ensure all athletes meet their minimum. Must work alongside a volunteer from the opposing team. No PAR volunteer = team forfeit. 
• Raffle & Sales
  Sell 50/50 raffle tickets, baked goods, and merchandise at home games. 
• Runner
  Keep things flowing—refill water jugs, grab ice packs, relay messages, and handle various game-day needs.
• Clean-Up Crew
  Help keep our spaces tidy by clearing trash from bleachers and grounds after games (home & away). 
• Firework Booth
  Support our biggest fundraiser! Help with setup, restocking, and customer service at the booth from June 28 – July 4 (pre-season).
